I guess if HBO, which is no right-wing orginization has proved it we had better throw out the recent election results until we can get paper ballots everywhere and revote. It's funny how the libs act as though voter fraud was impossible prior to electronic voting. Sore winners is right, what a bunch of losers. |

Most of the articles I read about it in the IT field (admittedly several years ago) implied the same thing; namely, that security and accuracy are suspect. From a programming point of view, it would be trivial to make a program that printed a slip of paper that had the list of candidates you voted for, while it added your vote to whoever's total. Want hard copy for the election judges? No problem--just print a copy that reflects how the votes were actually allocated. The only way to know the fraud happened would be to compare the sheets--who's going to do that? I do find it ironic that the Dems have whined about it for several election cycles, but never seem to care about it in Chicago.  Vote fraud is a serious thing, and it should be taken seriously by everyone. |

Why shouldn't they do that?Why do we always have to know who won on the same day as the elections?Wouldn't you know right away if the machine registered your vote correctly? Youwould know right then and there something was wrong.What the hell are the election Judges for then?
