In an interview, he said when he showed up to start filming he found out they'd changed the title to Pacific Airways Flight 121. Said if they didn't change it back to Snakes on a Plane he wasn't doing it! I think he's doing it only because he knows it's cheesy and wanted to have fun with it. A few months after filming wrapped up they went back and shot more in order to add some dialogue in which was prompted by the huge internet response to it specifically the first photo above... video clips here.
