What in Illinois would be defined as an SBR? I tried doing a search but came up with nothing. I just don't know if 16" is the Min or 14.5 or what? Thanks and sorry for asking a stupid (I should know) question |

16" is the minimum. anything less is SBR. you can have a 14.5" barrel with a Flash suppressor or compansator at/over 1.5" permanantly attached to get your 16" though. Some people even have 11" barrels with 5" Flash suppressors permanatly attached. It is then concidered part of the barrel and gives you the Legal 16". Hope this helps. |
It's measured with the stock extended. A standard underfolder is about 25 3/4"-25 7/8" long with the stock folded, but since they're measured with the stock extended, they easily achieve over 30" in length (I can't remember the measurement). WIZZO |

I was thinking about bullpups, custom, etc. I forgot about underfolders/sidefolders... remeber discussion about that in past, but also remember different interpretations... I remember getting stopped by State Police for no brakes on front wheel, pointed out I had two brakes on rear.... Then he said handlebars were too high off seat.... corrected him again... He just gave me a ticket for speeding, should have taken the "no brakes" one and went to court..... Sucks vz58 needs barrel ext.... |
