Hello Yall, thanks for looking. Im in champaign and am in need of some Win 64 gr. PP. Does anyone know of a shop that has this in a reasonable driving distance. I am going deer hunting this weekend and my AR is sighted in for this, but I only have a few rounds left. My dumb ass only bought one box , and now I am in desperate need. Any help would be greatly apreciated. RemMan eta: I can shoot, it didnt take me a whole box to sight it in. My brother picked up the rifle after I was done and proceeded to fire off a bunch of rounds, before I could tell him to stop. ![]() |

Sorry I dont know where you can find it, but isnt that stuff the best? I shot it through a sheet of plexiglass and into water jugs. All of it remained intact and I remembered it like almost tripled in size. My grab-bag mags are M855 with this stuff mixed in. Its great defense ammo. BTW Joe: Did you eer get those pics online from the shoot? |

If you are really going deer hunting with an AR I suggest that you buy a RCBS reloading press (or other brand). You can put any bullet type on top of any powder charge and modify that to your own needs. When you load your own you can load up to the maximum safe pressures as opposed to the factory safe pressures. It takes a while to get everything right so start now to get everything ready for next year! I really like reloading the old brass 'cause it makes the shooting exprience linger on for a few more days. I reload for- .223 .454 Casull .45-70 .30-06 .357mag 9mm luger (LUGER) .30-30 .45lc .45acp |
Im huntin in the Northwoods of WI, not IL. mikey250r I know, but I am a college student and right now the funds are pretty tight. I will be starting to reload this summer, when I have more money in the pocket. Leaving in 3 hrs. So Ill see what I can do on the way up. I'll stop at Outdoor World and pray they have some in stock. Everyone going into the woods this weekend looking to pack the freezer, or get a trophy, GOOD LUCK! RemMan

At our farm outside of Tampico (Birthplace of Pres. Ronald Reagan) I'm gonna try again tomorrow, and if that doesn't work out, I have another place I'll try Saturday that's just a couple miles down the road. WIZZO |
