I will try to make it, but I will need to be there very early. Wife has tickets to see Nemo On Ice...have I will be looking for some mags, 20-30 rounders. ( does anybody know if Surefit will be there) And there use too be a guy there that sold quality reloaded ammo very cheap in white boxes, I will be looking for him also. Joe |

Kane County Fairgrounds, near the corner of Route 38 and Randall Road. If you konw where the Courthouse (er, Judicial Center) is it is not too far from there. Show is from 7:30am to 12:30pm and they have a little kitchen that you can get food at. |
i was planning on going around 8:00AM cuz i got a bunch of guys that wanna go and they have this thing about "early bird" and crap like that... |

One guy was selling Colt 20 rounders for $10 a pop. The show was pretty dead and not as many vendors, probably because they just had a Kane County show not but 2 weeks ago. Ran into SIG223 and cannibalisticrevenge and chatted abit about ARs and such. Came home with the stunning catch of a pistol mag pouch and a chamber flag!

Poor Dawg. If you didn't get canned from your job you could afford more.  On a more serious note. It wasn't too bad. I picked up 20 rnd mags for $10 a pop. Great deal there. It was good meeting Dawg and Cannibalisticrevenge. Too bad there was no ammo. |

I picked up a minty 1968 Colt SP1, 10,8XX serial range for $1200.00, a Colt type 1 four position stock, new in wrapper for $100.00 and a wood M14 hand guard. Other than that it was pretty dull, I am surprized that the pre-ban Colt 6520 government carbine was still there from the last show, $1099.00 was a decent deal considering what they are going for , I know he would have come way down, he was trying to work me into it Te 6920's that were in the center of the room were priced at an ungodly ammount, What was he smoking Some pretty cheap Bushmasters though Oh and I bought my 9 year old son an airsoft AR "just like Dad's" Seeing his face was the best deal of the day

| I think I saw it on a rack it was the loner AR. I thought it was in good shape if its the same one. I sure thought there would be more ammo there with high prices but not really . Seen a few rip off too always make for a good laugh. I had to go early sorry missed you guys . |

Most suprising thing I saw at the show was the owner of RGUNS bargin hunting. I guess I kind of figured that he has enough stuff to play with. Did any one else see those folks in the North East corner of the big room with the tricked out FAL's What is the story with these? Any good? They were running for about the price of a top of the line DSA SA58. Do they use new parts (barrel, reciever, etc.) or are they parts guns? |
