| Thank you. Many of us provide what we can in our conjoined effort. Your info is always much appreciated Green Dragon. I hope to see you again this year in Springfield on March 24th. I don't know if you remember me but my brother in law and I sat in fron of you and your lovely wife last year for the first round in the executive commitee. Your wife helped get more witness slips, I thank her for that I think they tried to screw us by not having enough witness slips or in their arrogance, underestimated how many Americans actually live in Illinois. Thanks for all the updates brother. |

Patriot, I remember you guys, but I'm lousy at remembering actual faces. Thanks to the hearing starting late, everyone had plenty of time to get acquainted. I think every gunowner should sit in on at least one hearing. They would be amazed at how effortlessly these guys try to strip away our rights. Don't you just love to watch a guy stuff his face full of food, not paying any attention at all. Then BAM, vote "Yes", take all of the guns away and throw them in jail. Where's my per diem? I'm happy to do whatever updates I can. I live close enough that I can visit the Capitol whenever I want, so I try to make the most of it. I know that alot of you guys live a pretty good distance away. I told some locals around here that I sat next to some guys from Lake? County who made a helluva long drive down to fight for their rights. Meanwhile these guys live 10 minutes from that Hearing room and won't lift a finger to make a phone call, write a letter, or go to a hearing. They disgust me. You did more showing up that day than most gunowners will do their entire lives. Thanks to you and all of the others on this site that actually get involved in the process. |

LOL, GD, we we're the guys from Lake County! 15 minutes from America's Dairyland to be exact. I was there last year, I will be there on the 24th. Short of death there is NO EXCUSE, NONE for any of us to not be there. Jobs are no excuse. Can't get the day off? Quit. Our adversaries would much prefer you slave for the IRS in lieu of defending the Second Amendment. Easier said than done right? I couldn't get the day off last year from work. I told them in these words "Too Fuc!!ng bad." I made the trip to Springfield and still had a job when I got back. Cowtow or stand up. You decide. |

SB2561 and SB2562 have been re-referred to Rules, back to square one. They didn't move by the deadline yesterday. These are the only two Senate Bills that went to Committee that didn't make it to the floor. At least the ones that I've been following ,anyway. The House has until March 4th to move their bills out of committee. They are supposed to give 6 days notice for the hearing. The only bills that have a notice are HB4835 and HB5016, and these were posted awhile back. By my count, they would have had to post a notice by today, tomorrow at the latest. We must stay vigilant, so they don't add these bills to a shell bill later. |
