Hi, Marksman14 told me I should introduce myself. Name is Nate, I'm 21 and I live in Carpentersville. Thats about 45minutes Due East from Chicago via I-90. I am Just North of Elgin. I work in Saint Charles and travel all around Illinois for buisness. I go down to Galesburg a few times a year also to visit my grandparents. I also drive up towards you guys in Northern IL on my way to Montello Wisconsin (45 minutes East of the Dells, North of Millwaukee). I just purchased my first gun a XD-40 last weekend and went shooting Friday and Saturday. GAT will probably be my new local hangout :) I also want to goto the Kane County Gun Show at the Kane County Fairgrounds next month. It's located on Randall Road between Route 64 and Route 38, Opposite of the new Goverment Center aka Monkey Wards building. Anyway I shoot at GATS often at the range so if you wanna hook up some time lemme know. |
Yup  Most of the major manufacturers are there to show their wares and you can test fire most of the handguns for a small fee. Usually $4-$7 for 10 rounds depending on the caliber. LOTS of fun, door prizes and raffles. A "must go" event in my opinion. Hope to see you there. I'll be the guy in the CETME t-shirt grinning from ear to ear.
