One day after an assault on an umpire at a Chicago White Sox's home game. The honorable Mayor Richard J. Daley of Chicago is banning baseball. In a press release he stated that this would be necessary for him to implement. And that this is required so he could remain consistent with all his other assinine political moves he has recently made. Such as the proposed Assault Weapons Ban, that would only punish Law-Abiding Shooters, Hunters, Gun collectors, Sportsmen, and Illinoisan's in general. While doing nothing to reduce crime and punish criminals. And the now famous Meig's Field Ban. He stated that he felt terrible about Meigs field but that after 9/11 the evil weapons of mass destruction, the single engine plane must be banned from the city. He realizes that these are very unpopular, controversial, and difficult decision for him to make, but necessary in the sake of homeland security. I tried contacting the Mayor to get his comments first hand. But his office said he was in a meeting with Governor Ron Blagojevich at a local Home Depot. Appears the Mayor and Governor are inquiring about purchasing numerous bags of Sakcrete. With the delayed expansion of Ohare Airport and the problems with the Peotone Airport. The Mayor and Governor are poposing-dumping Sakcrete into Lake Michigan to make a new Airport. Numerous bankrupt airlines and Iraqi Air are interested in this proposal. Dates of completion and actual costs are not known at this time due to the uncertainly in the required number of bags of concrete needed to fill in the Lake. The Mayor and Governor were delighted about the economic boost to the State another not need airport would bring. The Governor stated after running out all the Firearms manufactures in the state such as: Rock River Arms, ArmaLite, Les Baer, DSA, Model 1, and 1.2 Million FOID holders. The state really needed this stimulus package. They felt sure that these newest proposals would ensure both of them getting reelected by a landside. Tom Ridge has gone on record denying any logical purpose for the closing of Meigs, and further stated the Department of Homeland Security was never even consulted on the closing, which Ridge further stated saddened him. In related news, the FAA has dropped the no fly zone (TFR) over Chicago. Daley is clearly a delusional paranoid. |

I have come to the conclusion that anyone, especially Illinois residents, and even more, those who do not live in the city of Chicago, should be able to put up their "talk to the hand" to Richie Daley's face whenever he has something to say, because I don't think this guy is no longer a legitimate political power that needs to be reckoned with. Daley says: "I want this, I want that, I want this banned and I want that banned." We reply back: "Yeah....Whatever!!!" and then we go on enjoying our lives and our freedoms. ArmaLiter |
