Question for the southies I'm looking to take a Krav maga or Aikido class here in Clark County.
Found some places but has anybody got some first hand experience or is taking a class from a particular school that could provide a good place to learn?

Most of my experience is on the West side and is dated because I've been gone about 5 years now.

I used to train under Donavin Britt at Las Vegas Krav Maga off Charleston/Rainbow. Donavin is a good instructor and him and several of his staff are shooters. The school was good and I learned a lot. Las Vegas Krav Maga even partners up with local gun ranges to offer Simunition based training once a year called "Trial by Firearms". You can see last years event here: http://www.kravmagaalliance.com/event/trial-by-firearms-2015-emergency-response/ . I've taken a ton of firearms training classes and the "Trial by Firearms" classes are by far the most realistic and educational classes I've taken.

Another person I'd recommend is Ken Hahn. But I'm not sure if he's even still in Vegas. Last I saw he was actually working with Las Vegas Krav Maga. Not sure if he's still there or not. Ken and his wife are both bad ass and great instructors. But Ken was coming from more of a MMA type of training and that might not be what you're looking for.

I contacted battleborn krav maga inquiring about their pricing got a response this morning.

Hi Obo2, this is Kimi.
Thank you for reaching out to us at Battleborn. I've attached our classes so you can see what we offer. All classes are 1 hour long. We offer 3 beginner classes a week but, after a week then going into regular classes is no issue. As far as pricing and contracts we offer several options. Krav only classes are $110 a month for adults, women's only classes are $80 a month, kickboxing classes are $80 a month, Kids classes are $75 a month, all classes are $125 a month, family rates are one person from family is full price and additional family members is $50 each, we have drop in fees of $15 or 10 class punchcard for $120 for those who have crazy schedules. We also do 6 month and 12 month contracts. We offer 1st week free. If you are interested in privates then they are $30 an hour. Equipment is not required in the beginning. We have gloves as well as shin guards for community use. I don't provide mouth guards or cups. If you decide to continue a Krav lifestyle then I would suggest to eventually invest in the protective gear just discussed. We don't have morning classes as of yet but we will if there are more than 10 people to attend these classes. Just come in with gym clothing and sign a waiver to attend any classes. We look forward to seeing you!
Thank you, kimi

Thanks for the info guys. I think I'm going to sit in on a class at several schools and decide from there.
