Got  exorbitant water and gas bills this month.
Found i have a hot water leak somewhere

Can anyone recommend a plumber that is reliable and won't rake me over the coals.

Definitely  in the slab or I would just fix it myself.
My homeowners insurance said I'm covered, but now they are talking about jackhammering my bathroom floor.
That's going to be a pain in the ass.

I guess you didn't contact my referral,  they would would likely abandon that line and re route, no jackhammering, its stupid cause it could break somewhere else. Then what, jackhammer again?

I don't want them jackhammering my floor. We'll see what happens tomorrow.
I would rather it done all at once.
The house is 18 years old and experience tells me it will leak again.

If we can't come to an agreement  I'll withdraw  the claim and go from there.
