I'll still be in the Bahamas on the 1st, but you can count me in for the Phoenix one on the 22-23 weekend.

No local shows in January?

There is a gun show here on Jan 18-19th  its claudes show.  The last one was a bit disappointing.  Many dealers were full of themselves.  Ammo was getting kind of thin at Miwalls.  Still a few good buys and some odd parts.

Why is this one better than others?

Longun45, if you ever go to the Crossroads show in Phoenix you will never go to another Claude show again, I promise! I have never been to the Crossroads show in St. George, but it is so close why not go? Consider going with us to at least one of those shows in Feb Longun45, you will be pleasantly surprised. Let us know if you can go.

Hey there.. I would be interested in going across if it's an open invitation. I'm in 'Vegas. I did find the Claude Hall show a bit weak, but then I grew up on the Great Western Show in Pomona, CA. ;)

It's always an open invitation.  I'd be fun to roll out of town with a bunch of ARFCOMers...  Couple of months ago Wolfpack and I dragged Ratspawn to some middle of nowhere show in Kingman that had 8 tables of crap;  we still had a great time though!

It would be cool to get enough of us Nevadan's to go to the out of state shows to have to rent one of those 15 passenger vans, and no Gunbert you ain't driving it!

I'll be up for it if I can get the time off. I'll let you know. I too have been less than impressed with the shows at Cashman. I've probably gone to my last there.

I dunno why you bitch about my driving... it ain't like you're gonna get the ticket.  Besides, we have more time to look at guns when I drive.
Without going through all the muddy hillbilly backroad 'shortcuts', as you call them.

Yes, a good time was had by all – Wolfpack’s driving notwithstanding. . .

Seriously, it was great to hang with some fellow members of the board and even hook up with some great ARFCOM guys out of Phoenix/Mesa.  I’m up for a road trip again anytime.

Ratspawn, Gunbert and I found a great little hardware/gunstore in Overton, like 45 minutes North, if you want to go sometime send me an email or IM. They have a good selection and great prices.

Well, I found it when I was looking for an FFL. He's cool and charges $20, I hate LV gunshops, too many attitudes.

Even though I did find that place as you know Gunbert is still a detective....

I live in St. George and would like to meet up with you guys.  Maybe we could do a BBQ/shoot in the hills, or a BBQ at a park in town.

I have not been to the local show in a few years, so I can't tell you whether it blows or not.

Oh, and I'm in for BBQ in St. George!  Imposter, maybe you want to post this in the Utah forum (do they have a forum?) and see if any other members in the area want to hook up and go Q 'n shoot?

Good idea Gunbert: www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=8&f=37&t=207

I'll look into reserving a covered pavillion at a park after the holidays, in case we want to go that route.

WolfPack, are we going have to build barracks in the pool table room, or are you going to put tents up on the golf course.  We can only fit so many.

See you all soon,

Tom
