| Who was the company that actually manufactured these for HDi? |

did they turn out OK? I ask because I have not had too good of luck getting lowers without problems from Superior in the past......they did swap out the lowers in question without hassle, though. advntrjnky We had to return approximately 60% of the receivers if that tells you something thanks, Ron |

I guess I got lucky. |

I still have one of the messed up ones if you'd like to see it. With some custom work to the safety/selector switch, I got it to work but you can't change the trigger group and have the safety work. The pin holes are out of spec.
EDIT: HDI made this right at the time of purchase and was not meant to reflect negatively on them. |

One of the reasons that Doc was pushing these was the fact that they are a good lower. I especially like the extra feature of the screw adjustable first stage portion or take up on the trigger pull. The one I put together appear as good as any I have seen, so my question would be for anyone out there running one hard: What's your opinion.

They either work or they don't, they were only sold as stripped lowers. Running a lower hard or function checking one is about equal. Almost all of the out of spec ones were returned to Superior, a few slipped through the cracks. |

I have found the screw to take up slack of the trigger group to be more snake oil than useful....have two lowers with them, but took them out and are in the parts bin now. advntrjnky Maybe if you asked someone, who knows how to properly adjust it, you would understand how to set it up. |

I did....Greg Sullivan of slr15.... Just never found the benefits worth the effort of trying to turn a stock trigger into something that they are not. I rather like the extra take-up on a stock trigger.....if i want less I buy a better aftermarket trigger.
