| I spend time hiking in your state every year- until now I've open carried while driving the highways and hiking. I would like to get a nevada ccw- I want to make a trip down from nw wyoming, and I'm looking for an instructor/course in the northeast part of the state, say west wendover, elko, spring creek. anybody have any info? thanks. |

If you want a Nevada Concealed Firearms’ Permit, no problem:
NRS 202.3657 Application for permit; eligibility; denial or revocation of permit 1. Any person who is a resident of this State may apply to the sheriff of the county in which he or she resides for a permit on a form prescribed by regulation of the Department. Any person who is not a resident of this State may apply to the sheriff of any county in this State for a permit on a form prescribed by regulation of the Department. Application forms for permits must be furnished by the sheriff of each county upon request. Each Sheriff's Office has there own list of approved Firerams' Instructors. I would suggest you contact the Sheriff's Office you are going to get your permit from for an application. With the application there should be a list of instructors. Get the list and then ask on this form about the instructors. Right now we do not know were your will get your permit from and which group of instructors you are referring to. |
