| I am new to reloading, and I live out of town a about an hour, but our local guys know they are the only game in town and well charge accordingly. I do all my grocery shopping in reno any ways (saves a bundle). So my question is whats the best selection/price for components. I imagine a big chain store but generally dont have the extra time to do the comparison shopping. If people could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it greatly. |

It depends on what you want to buy. The only prices and selection I can tolerate is Sportsmans Warehouse. If you need a dillon part, Mark Fore & Strike usually has it. They have nearly every rcbs and dillon component in stock. Just be prepared to pay more than retail.
If you live towards Fallon, Frontier Liquor has a large powder selection and neat toys. I end up bulk ordering online from Widener's, Hi-Tech Ammo, Powder Valley, etc. I just can't pay $30 a pound for powder. |

Best prices I've found on bullets is at Cabelas. Sportsmans seems to have best prices on primers. Haven't really shopped around for powder, but Cabelas, Sportsmans and Scheels all stock it. Sportsmans also has Dillon and Hornady presses.
Mark Fore prices all their Dillon stuff same as in the Blue Press catalog. |

Use the local stores for load development and when you got your load figured out, buy bulk online from a place like powder valley.
Powder Valley will let you piggy back on your initial Haz Mat charge, and when you buy powder by the Keg, primers by the case, bullets by the thousands you will cut down your cost substantially. |

Sportsmans offers a 10% military and vet discount I think the "Public Service" discount at Sportsmans is gone now, they had a one time only 10-20% discount January 22 that ended public service discount. May still apply for Vets and active military, but definitely not LEO's and Firefighters. |
