Anybody know where I can buy one of the Champion 3500 watt Generators, locally? (LV, Henderson, Boulder City)?
Thanks. - Adam http://www.lasvegasdogtraining.com |

I couldn't find them locally so I order from TSC, they have free shipping. Runs like a champ, pun intended.

Thanks for your reply.
I've been shopping online for this generator, for quite awhile and regretted not buying it when I first saw it for $299. The sale ended and was kicking myself. Thanks for posting the link. I just pulled the trigger and bought the wheel attachment, too. Let me know how it works for you? - Adam. |
| I found the one you're talking about. It's very close to the same rated at 3500 peak and 3050 for normal operation though the Champion for the same price is rated at 4000 peak and 3500. Also the champion is rated at 10 hour run time at 50% load, while the harbor freight is rated 9 hours at 50% load. They're very similar, but the champion won out when I explored the specs. |

Yep and the other thing is that Champion is in Cali and they back their products. My fuel tank and spigot was damaged from the UPS delivery, I called them they said fill out the registration online and then send an email with what I needed. Three days later I had a new tank and spigot. not going to happen with HF. Oh did you spring for the wheel kit? Nice to have, but not essential. |

My parents bought the same generator from either Checker or Pep Boys in Arizona for $300.
I was skeptical about it and told them they should have bought something better but since then I have read nothing but good things about it. I'd like to puck one up myself. |

I read nothing but good things about it as well, so I ordered one. Should be good for range work, outdoor activities, and emergency power at the house. ETA: I saw a used one on craigslist for $350.00, so $299.00 for a new one and free shipping (plus $10.00 heavy delivery charge) should be a good deal. I'll give a report after break-in and my first couple times of use. |
