I had read the after action report of fairlylaidback and gunmonkey on Line of Fire, LLC and after speaking with ishoot2live, Mr. Nizzari, I knew I wanted to take his course. I consider myself a pretty good shooter and I was looking for a course that would improve my skills and enhance my shooting experience. Also, being in Law Enforcement, I know that there is a chance that I may end up having to use my duty weapon and as I learned in the academy, there’s no nice way to shoot someone, so you might as well do it right the first time.

Other than the firearms training I got in the Peace Officer Academy, this is the only other course I have gone too. I will recommend to all shooters that if they are thinking about taking a course, take a course that actually trains you and that will challenge you. I understand that there are some big name schools with the big name gun gurus out there that turn your gun into a bullet hose. All you’re buying is the name and their time. Line of Fire is not one of those schools. Line of Fire puts the instructor right on the firing line with the students where he demonstrates the drills and watches and critiques the shooter.

I learned a lot of new stuff and some better stuff than what I learned in the academy and from my departments’ range masters. From covering reloading, shooting positions, dominant and off hand shooting, ready positions, and I know there is still so much more to learn and that was the Basic/ Intermediate course. For professional training and experience, I recommend Line of Fire, LLC.
