Anyone receive his yet? Early voting starts this weekend and I haven't gotten anything to research my choices. |
|
Ok, I was able to find info on candidates and make my choices in all races except the following two: (Clark) County Clerk Scott Austin or Nicholas Needham (Clark) County Treasurer Edwin Canizalez or Mike "Doc" Javornicky Any insight into these races would be greatly appreciated! |

I've received mine and it is in two languages (again) and I only speak one, ENGLISH.
Why can't a person, when they register to vote state what language they want their Sample Ballot to read? In these so-called skinny economic times, wouldn't that save money, paper, and ink? Fucking Morons.... |

It would cost 5 times as much, just in man power. that is unless we hire a few from star nursery. |

I want to request MY ballot in English only. I wasn't talking about ever other language on the planet like Kommiefornia does. |
| Unfortunately, the Voting Rights Act requires ballots in foreign languages. As far as I can tell this feature was added by congress in 1975. When the act was renewed in 2006 efforts were made to remove this section, but unfortunately, those efforts failed. We will have to live with this feature until it expires in 2031 or 32, unless congress repeals it beforehand. You may not like it (I don't), but it's the law. |
