| Sure, she is constituionally qualified, but does she have a law degree? Does she know how to make backroom deals and cover her own ass? Will she have the balls to bomb a Baltic country of she gets caught fucking an intern? Can she buddy up to Mexico's President and talk about amnesty and how great it will be for everyone? Did she invent the internet? What is her carbon footprint? Can she sell our missile technology to China? Will she promise us some "Palin money"? There is so much more to being President than just the basics of age and citizenship. |

I THNIK A MAN SHOULD LEAD THIS COUNTRY. obama, while im not a fan, appears to to put a better face on the Good 'ol bush, i could not stand to hear him talk... but i am a fan of good ol boys whats wrong with Ron Paul again...i forgot.. lets build some solor citys out in the desert! Is there any political question she can answer with any specificity without being prepped? Does she know where Iraq and Afghanistan are on a map? If Palin is the face of the Republican party, Repubs are screwed. Before the hate spews forth: I am a registered Repub, but I'm a conservative by belief, and I can't stand Obama. While I may believe a lot of the same things Palin believes, there is no way in hell she is capable of running the country. |

I was actually excited when she was announced as the VP candidate. I was thinking: Gov of Alaska so she must know how to run something, young, good looking, fresh - just what the GOP needed. I was even more fired up after her Convention speech. And then she opened her mouth on something unscripted and she exposed herself for the fucking moron she is. I was embarassed FOR her in the debates. I don't have anything against her views, necessarily. But if she is the savior of the GOP, we are all well and truely screwed. If the GOP rallies around her, they will give the dems a solid extra 4-8 years of dominance. Had it not been for her, McCain would be POTUS right now and all of us would be saying "obama who?" Anyone who is a true conservative gets my vote, RHINOS need not apply. Gov Gibbons and Sandoval are both RHINOS.
There are no perfect candidates as there is no perfect person. Many of us held our noses and voted for McCain because Obama is far worse. We as a state got screwed in the last legislative session with a bunch of new taxes and insane laws. The taxes will go to support special interests and just support the welfare program that is state and teachers retirements. We as a society can no longer afford the insane taxing and spending levels that have occurred over the last 20 years. The welfare programs, the insane salaries and benefits for public employees. State and local governments are bloated with unnecessary employees and unnecessary mandates, they pass ever more restrictive regulations that make it impossible to use common sense. Ask Ron if you want any really fun examples. I will be running for the assembly this next election, and it will be a lot of work. It's time to go where the fight is, that is the legislatures and the congress. Anyone else want to come? Do I care what sex the conservative is? Not on a bet. As long as they hold to the conservative ideals at least 51% of the time I am with them. Thanks Tony |

My wife is planning on going that morning to try to get one of the 1,000 "wristbands" they are giving out for the signing and then going back in the evening to get a book signed. She and her sister are big Palin fans. |
