Anyone recommendations for Vegas valley? I have a whirlpool dishwasher that's acting up a bit and I don't feel like messing with it myself. |
Well the dishes usually don't end up clean, even after pre-cleaning them. What I'm seeing is the soap (whether in the packet, or put in dry) not totally dissolving. It appears to me as though it's a water-delivery issue.....not pumping enough in the machine, one or both of the spray bars not working as designed, or the optical sensor is malfunctioning. That's a strictly non-expert take though. I've: -Run the washer through it's test cycle (acts ok i.e. starts, switches between modes, opens the soap drawer, can hear water spraying around in there etc) -Cleaned it with commercial deals & vinegar - Couple months ago when it was first acting up I took apart the lower wash arm/bottom end and checked/cleaned the chopper dealio (wasn't bad though). This dishwasher is only 2 years old and it's the type that has an optical sensor that's supposed to "read" the water thereby telling how dirty the dishes are and adjust the wash accordingly. Also, the test cycle I mentioned earlier is supposed to re-calibrate this sensor but the machine is still performing poorly. I could start swapping out parts but I've already worked on it once and without actually knowing what's wrong I don't really want to start blindly buying/installing parts, just want it fixed at this point. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
| I do some repirs on appliances. But not sure what your issues may be . Only recomendation I could give would be to run a couple of cups of CLR or a cup of pool acid through a cycyle and see if that clears up any calcium and or soap deposits aiding in better water delivery through the sprayers. |
Hotpoint 206C151P001 Model HDA150X-73WA It fills, sprays and then leaks onto the floor. Pump does not work? The owner is a close friend, pinching pennies to ensure he can provide for a newborn on the way. I want to pay for the repair, since his spouse is constantly "doing the dishes" - no jokes please. Cheaper to buy him a new one and install it myself??? V OUT |
Dude! Lets go drown some worms or something. |
Follow up....... Thanks for the number to these guys, it was exactly like your experience with them i.e 3-4 days out, showed up exactly on time, and took care of business. I'd definitely use them again. |
I'll get the price of the pump and we'll go from there. IM me your number.
