I'm going to call the voting registra number and see how I can change my party to |
|
That is how I have been registered from the day I first became eligible to vote. I figured I would eventually change my party affiliation to the party which most closely reflected my personal views, morals, standards and expectation. So far, that party has yet to emerge... |

The socialists learned it is far easier to take over a party and steer it to your goals. Third parties are absorbed and forgotten. No party is perfect and both have been co-oppted by socialist ideas. I like to compare our right to a swimming pool. If you do not keep it clean and the pumps in good repair it will become unusable. To reopen a pool after a long period takes a lot of work. A pool that is in good repair is very inviting and looks easy. The work that keeps the pool looking inviting is not seen or participated in so it is not understood except by those who do that work. The government has fallen into error and we must work to put it right. Like the pool it is going to take work and time to set things right. The framers of the constitution set in place a system that while not perfect is set to resist populism and promote true equality. But this government has been corrupted by men with other agendas. The people responsible for this started a long time ago and many people now take the restrictions as normal. The schools have been instrumental in this. Many have been taught that slavery is ok. I tell you it is not. If you have to depend on a government for anything you will be waiting a long long time. Just look at the shooting park. Started in the 80s. The main point here is that to put things right, it will take work and a lot of work. There are no shortcuts. You will have to get involved, very involved and you will get tired and frustrated. But to sit things out is to hope, Hope is not a strategy. Hope is a prescription for slavery. I choose independence, not slavery. I will commit to independence. I will commit to a better life for my kids and my grandkids. I will commit to lower taxes and to put the government on a strict diet. I will commit to reduce the number of laws because there are too many and they are used selectively and capriciously. The "Rule of law" has perverted and is now used as a club to provide special privileges to selected classes. The effect it to buy votes with public money and to perpetuate and further pervert the government. I do not care what your reasons are for staying out of the political process. Find one that you care about and get in there. |

Switching to non partisan is no vote. If anything you will become just another middle man that both parties will feel the need to target by running a middle of the road candidate. If you want to be a conservative stay registered with the conservative party. I have been registered as non partisan from the beginning but I plan on changing that this year in an effort to increase Republican numbers. |

I don't think it really matters how you register to vote or who you vote for. Either way, you're gonna get a vigorous ass fisting. You just get to pick what tattoo you prefer on said fist, "Jesus Rocks" or "Abortions Rock". Now who gives out free beer? That's the party for me! |
