LAst night I'm watching TV and must have seen Channel 3 do their little news previews 3 times with the clear message that tons of new gun toting people, yikes, even from out of state, will be flooding our streets and causing mayhem because of the new reciprocity law. I didn't stay up to watch the newscast, so maybe they tamed it down in the actual broadcast, but I was disgusted by their news preview clips |

Channel 3 Reciprocity Story And BTW, they are wrong: You are not obligated under Nevada law to disclose to a Peace Officer that you are carrying a concealed weapon unless you are asked. I always instruct my students to tell the officer up front as a courtesy to the officer. |
| Montana too ! Oregon and Idaho also if I'm not mistaken. How does that work ? It works just like you said. My buddy in Montana got his right after 1 year of being back there. I forget the details but it was 10X easier than here. He can carry anything anytime. He asked don't I have to shoot to qualify ? They said "well we figure if you are going to carry, you BETTER know how to use it" |

The verbage of the girl on the first part was slanted to cause a question in the minds of people about a flood of guns on the streets of las vegas. And again the law enforcement stated "dont get involved". it's OUR job. LOL Standard antigun tactics of division and trying to cause fear. Add to that a lot of inaccurate information issued to cops and ccw holders at the same time. Now we have a recipie for disaster. No wonder many of us don't trust the media or the government at any level. |

i'm not too thrilled with that report. it was a little slanted if you ask me. longgun: the Troop said "property crime." if a CCW holder draws down on somebody for a petit larceny, i'm gonna be a bit concerned. violent crimes are a big difference. shoot the fuckers all day long for all I care. |
Yeah I caught that too. They also said we are required to put our hands on the dashboard as well. Just another dumbass news agency that is not held accountable for that they say. |
