Ditto this - thanks a bunch. Good to see all the usual faces...but where was Doug? Oh and no worries - I didn't go home and "fix" my Glock. Glad I got to meet Ernie - nothing wrong with a guy that deals in horespower and weapons. I do have a favor to ask from Joe. I would really appreciate it if he would post his method of making gravy or at least IM it to me. That was the highlight of my night and the best since Nonnie T. back in the Cuse’ - O Madonn!  .

I'd like to thank everyone for coming. I had a great time. I'm sorry that I didn't respond sooner, but one of my Marine Corps nephews is home on leave for three weeks after his third tour of 7 1/2 months of front line Haji Killin' in the Sandbox. I spent most of the day and evening yesterday with him and his family, so I was preoccupied with that. His brother is still there doing his third tour and he should be home on leave in October. Some of you folks from the NVHTF have met them before. I am pleased that everyone had a good time, and as always the company was outstanding. It was also free of jerks, because I select my guests more carefully now (most of you that have been to my home know what I mean). Also, I never saw so many M4's outside of a gun store! My house was definately NOT the location for a home invasion Saturday night (not that it would be any other time).  Anyway, Veronica's dessert was great, and the "Coughee" (Expresso and Sambuca) kept me up until daybreak too. And GloryBigs, the recipes for the Marinara sauce and the pizza dough are Mom's familiy recipe. Fuggetaboutit, if I gave you those recipes I'd have to kill ya'. JK Thanks for coming and I hope to see all of you again soon. PS: I may have found a source for mounts for our M4 Fleshlights! |
