What kind of cool things are legal in Nevada that aren't in Cali? (besides evil rifles)

Well, don't know how cool it is, but certain smaller counties (not Clark where Las Vegas is or Washoe where Reno is) have legal prostitution.

Nevada has a lot more freedoms in the ole firearm department--ability to own, with the proper hoops jumped through, a silencer, fully auto, etc.

Vegas has some gay laws regarding knife carry.

In fact that's about the only thing where Cali can rightfully kick us in the balls.  Well that and they're closer to the ocean.

What about Cannons, Bowling ball guns, and other things like it?

What about knives in Vegas?

Hookers, gambling and no open container laws aren't enough?

In the PRK, you can't hunt at night.

Coyotes are protected.

Rabbits are protected.

You can't EVER spotlight an animal.

You'll get hassled for shooting on public land.

In Nevada, you can hunt varmints at night.

Coyotes are varmints.

JackRabbits are varmints.

Californians are varmints.

Spotlighting is an accepted hunting practive.

If you get stopped by a game-warden on public land, they'll tell you to kill 10 Jacks for them, too! (They just want to make sure you're not killing wild horses)

Sure as long as you shoot them with your govt approved and registered rifle holding no more than 10 rds with a non-removable magazine etc. etc..  Sure, it's just the same as in Cali. Really.

I didn't check the laws. I was being facetious. If you have to fact-check a joke, it ain't funny anymore

But now that you mention it, though I didn't know rabbits and yotes were fair game in PRK, I know that hunting after dark is a BIG no-no, as is spotlighting (because you would have to be ..... well, hunting at night)

Gotcha. Yeah, spotlighting is illegal. I am looking forward to some night hunting.

In Reno/Sparks the natives go 10 miles under the posted speed limit, unless there's 6+ inches of snow or ice...then it's 10 miles over!

Seriously, what the fuck is up with that shit? People, the #1 lane is for fast-moving traffic, lanes >#2 are for slow-moving traffic.

"Slow-moving traffic" is best described as anybody driving five miles an hour over the speed limit and under. Please, if you're not going five over, get the fuck over to the right.

Does anyone remember how smooth the traffic flow was when the Mexicans went on strike! It was like the Vegas good old days.

) Lights of any size or voltage may be used to take furbearing or nongame mammals only in the areas described in subsections (b) and (c) below, and only under the following conditions:

(1) The use of lights for night hunting is prohibited in any area where the general deer season is open.

(2) Furbearing mammals and nongame mammals may be taken with the aid of a spotlight or other artificial light operated from a vehicle provided such vehicle is stopped and standing with the motor off. No spotlight may be used from a vehicle which is on a public road or highway.

(b) Zone

We cant drive around and spotlight but we can hunt at night. Also no mag capacity limit I usualy use 20 or 30s when hunting yotes. You would be surprised that a lot of states have a 5 rd limit for hunting anything.

But from what I remember you guys have some of the best F&G laws in the country no orange no mag cap limit, spotlighting etc.And lots of land to do it on. Anyways good luck to you.
