If you could order any Surefire device for free; What would it be and why? No cans or IR stuff... V OUT |

The Beast is cool, but there's one that's more powerful. Runs off a vehicle battery and over in jihadistan the insurgents call it "The Eye of Allah". I'd have to say for a "free product" the M900. It's the best of it's type and the price is the only reason why I only have one. |
No I am still active duty AF. Just a what if question. I am looking to buy another but can't seem to justify it. i do not like having the foregrip and light mounted together. You are forced to have them both mounted all the time. BTW I have the M6. It is TOO big for my tastes. V OUT |

I too have Surefire Disease, the most expensive one I've ever owned was a M96 w/ARMS and an M500 or two. It's funny to watch people's expressions when you tell 'em the cost of these lights ;) For a 'free one' i too would choose the M900. I like the concept of the M900 but i think the grip is too long. They should do the cage type battery set up like in the M500 and make it bezel heavy with a shorter grip. Just my uneducated and unrequested opinion. |

I am partial to Streamlight. I have several Xenon and LED models. I went through a LE Instructor's course last month and everybody had Surefires. I used my Xenon TL-3 and I had the brightest light out there. I also have a Xenon TL-3 on my M4 mounted on a Samson offset rail mount. I like Surefire, but for the money Streamlight makes some good stuff. You can't go wrong with either product. |
