I am in the process of scheduling a Youth Rifle Course. I would like to hold the course on Saturday, December 16th, 2006, and I need four students to participate. The course consists of three hours of classroom training and one hour of live-fire range training. NOTE: The range time usually lasts longer than one hour because; the kids have so much fun shooting they don’t want to leave! The tuition for the course is $100.00 per student and the following will be provided: classroom time, written materials, cleaning kit, .22 caliber rifles (students may use their own if they have one) and ammunition; eye and ear protection (students may use their own if they have them), range time, targets, certificate of completion, group graduation and digital photograph. The course is only open to four students maximum and the age groups are as follows: 6-9, 10-13, and 14-17 years of age. If a parent feels that their child is mature enough to participate in an older age category, that child may attend the course with the older students. At least one parent/legal guardian over the age of 18 must attend the course. The parent/legal guardian does not have to sit through the classroom portion if they choose not to, but they must sign in the child at the beginning of the course. If the parent or guardian chooses to leave and they do not attend the classroom portion, they must return to pick up the child and they must be physically present on the outdoor range for the entire live-fire portion of the course. If anyone is interested in this fun and informative course for their child/children, please IM, e-mail, or call me. Be Safe. Joe (702) 242-8288 |

Joe, I want Sterling to do this class. His mom and I spoke and she's all for it. My only problem is we have a church outing with the kids on that night to see the Wranglers play, we are using the Republic Services box. The class would have to be over for us at about 2 so we can get back and get ready...is that possible? |
Sorry Wolfie, I can't guarantee being done by 2:00 pm. There is travel time to Boulder after the classroom, lunch, range set-up, etc. I would hate to have to cut the kids short. Perhaps I can sechedule the class for a weekday. When do the kids go on Christmas Break? |
