Wife will be teaching school in a less desirable part of town this next semester...

thanks!

Joe Nizzari of Line of Fire, LLC ( 248-8288) is the ONLY person in town that I would send your wife too.  I feel very strongly about this after taking one of the cheesy cookie cutter classes here in town, and then "auditing" his two day CCW class.  The other classes were a joke!  If someone is serious enough to get a CCW and carry a deady weapon, they should be serious enough to take a comprehensive 2 day CCW class.

With his CCW class, you can send someone who has never even held a gun, and in two days, they will be more than competent enough to shoot safely and effectively.  They will also know how to properly work their pistol, load, unload, field strip, clean, lube, reassemble, etc.  We had a 60 year old lady who had never even held a gun take the class, and by the end, she out shot 9 other guys, I was the only one who shot better,

Both my GF and my mom will be taking his class soon (just have to scrape up some more cash for two more guns!).

PS - you don't happen to be the Bill in Vegas who invest in RE are you>?

an associate from work has doubled his investment in Panorama Towers (bought before tower 1 was even started...)

you can find me on other forums around the 'net...same username...same guy

I took Joe's CCW class and learned a lot.  My hubby sat in on the class and said he learned how to correct some bad habits and a few more things too and he's been  messing with guns for atleast 10 years working in the military and before his enlistment also.  I want to take a hand to hand self defense class too and I think Joe teaches those classes too..I would rather have to hit someone to defend myself than shoot someone.  That is a complete last resort..

Joe's class was a fabulous class... the only thing that concerns me is that you say your wife is a teacher?  Keep in mind that you can't carry onto any school property, so that might not be the only option you want to pursue.  Yes, get her a firearm and have her take Joe's class for sure.  But you will also want to look into the typical pepper spray type thing and some martial arts training.  I know it sounds dumb, but research the laws... you don't want her to carry somewhere she's not supposed to and end up losing her permit.  IM ishoot2live and/or Jim Mayhugh and ask them what the specifics are and see what suggestions they might have.

Let us know what you hear!
