Hi Guys, Just a reminder that we will be having a match this Sunday at Desert Sportsman. It will be a Two gun match. I will be supplying the rifle and ammo and all you have to bring is a Subgun. We may not be shooting on our normal range due to the 3 gun Nationals. They may be setting up a stage on our bay. When you get to the range go to our regular bay. If we are not there go to Range 10 on the far side of the club. Setup at 0800. Match starts at 0900 Sharp. Hope to see you there. Tony |

MACHINE GUN MATCH 10/09/05 TONY DEE A very windy and gusty day greeted us. Because of the conditions a Steel Target only match was set up. The shooter started with a SKS rifle and had to knock down 4 steel targets with 5 shots. He then picked up his sub gun and shot several steel and pin targets. The course looked easy but a tremendous amount of ammunition was expended in this stage. The range was reset for the second run and it was a bit more shooter friendly. Stock class shooters were the top guns this month with some very good shooting. A team event was set up after the main match that was very different from what we normally do. It was great fun and very close. Next month will be a THREE GUN MATCH. You will need a SUBGUN, SHOTGUN and PISTOL. The pistol will have to be able to take pins off a table. (9mm) or bigger. Birdshot only for the shotgun. Match date is November 13th at 0900, setup at 0800. Hope to see you there.
