I figured it was still alittle to warm for you. I know you dont like the heat. I leave for Canada next week . Will be gone for 2 weeks. Come home just in time for Nevada deer season. It'll probably be the end of October or Early November before I get out locally again. Should have some kick ass pics when I get back from Canada.

I was fishing and got snowed off the lake up at sunnyside, went for a little drive to warm up and this little SOB tried to out run me. By the time I got the AK out from under the seat and ready to shoot he was almost out of range...thank goodness for Hi-Cap mags huh? Usually I call 'em, this was a target of op. I must say, I am not the greatest caller out there, but I am able to get a few from time to time. "G" |
Yo E, What kind of calls do you use? I have always used Circe calls, and they work great. Be Safe. Joe |
and who says the AK isnt a sporting rifle? |
You "don't need an AK-47" to hunt deer. John Kerry, Presidential Candidate 2004 ![]() Be Safe. Joe |

I have a CIRCE....it has the adjustable pitch......long, med, and close if I am not mistaken. Oh, and a red spot light. Of course, the AK is not the rifle of choice to get dogs with, but it seem to do the job in a pinch.....and it was better than sitting there wishing I would have brought a 22-250. "G" |

I love my CIRCE call. I think I have the same one as you E22, with the adjustable pitch. When I used to hunt dogs I used my Colt AR6520 Government Carbine with the 1/7 twist "pencil" barrel and iron A2 sights. I haven't hunted dogs since I put the 1/7" M4 upper and ACOG on the GC lower. I've never used my AK either, but I have used an SKS. The 7.62 round really puts em' down quick. I'd like to hook up with you guys sometime and join you for a hunt. Be Safe. Joe |

I do know that 168gr of 762x51 from an M1A will cut a dog in half........literaly, and that a 40 round burst from an American 180 will do a hell of a number on a 'yotee also. Every once in a while a man is in the right place at the right time, OH THE HUMANITY!! "G" |
|
BTW, I have had pretty good luck out by the dump early in the morning. Yotes can range 30-40 miles overnight no problem so the same areas never seem to dry up for some reason. You have got to respect the little buggars, their tenacity is impressive. We should do a hunt some time....... Gary |

Coyote-pot-pie......MMMMM MMMMM GOOD! As long as you dont hit them with a howitzer like WolfPack, it is possible to skin them out for a few bucks, but it is a hell of alot of work. Some counties in Utah have in the past placed a bounty on them because they are VERY sucsessful animals (all you need are the ears to turn in). Most of the time, to the horror of the tree hugging liberals out there, you let a sleeping dog lie.....so to speak. "G" |

I would love to see the AR50 in action, "Vector-6...Vector-6, We have contact at our 3 o'clock....need immediate defensive action...over" "roger that ...que Wolfpack and his BIG ASS GUN to knock the snot out the fuzzy little desert dog" ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I have 3 rounds of .50BMG I have been saving for just such an occasion.....I am in! OH YEAH...Im in! |
