[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Local ammo prices????

I need to pick up some 5.56/.223 ammo for my Pop....has anyone run across a good deal at a local shop as of late? Need some brass cased 55gr or 62gr target/plinking rounds...1 or 2K of em. Thanks, "G".

Bills buy and sell or citadel are your best bet, but whenever I buy more than 500 rounds at a time I usually go the internet or gunshow route.

Bass Pro Shops sells Q3131A for $3.99/20, but I don't know what citadel and Bill's are selling it for.

I purchased some at the last gun gun for a fair price.

S&B 55gr 223 for $165/1000.

Maybe this weeks gun show will have a similar deal?

I will be there at 0900.....what time is the shoot at Desert Sportsman, I think it is a semi-auto millitary rifle match? Anyone know offhand?
