If your intention is to see a confused looking LEO, then go ahead and blurt out:
"I have a concealed carry license....but I'm not armed " Chances are after the surprised, confused look diminishes from his face he may answer back with, "Well that's nice, honey" or something to that effect. Except a Madison cop. They may consider that probable cause to search your vehicle.
