They have a pretty webpage, but none of the links on their webpage work for me. That's all I know about there.
Basically, my first gunsmithing call is to Flamethrower. If he can't do it, I do it myself. Fortunately, he's able to do everything I've thrown at him. |

If you need a smith that is close by the Brookfield area there is Select Fire Weaponry in Waukesha (just off of Hwy18 a bit south of 94).
I called Midwest Industries to pick their brains as to whether they offer smithing services or who they might recommend. The individual that answered the phone noted he sends requests to Select Fire, or will do so until folks he sends to them have negative experiences, he noted no negative complaints with their work to date. That being said, I dropped off an 8" barrel to have an A2 front sight block drilled and pinned. I was told 2-3 weeks backlog when I dropped the parts off. I'm going on 4 weeks and a few days wait. I called for an update last week and was told it would be finished late last week or early this week, so keep that in mind if turn around time is critical for your needs. ETA: Received a call from Chris that the upper was finished and I just swung by and picked it up (1 mile away), work looks good, no complaints. |
