The other times are when the police take it over and it's not open to the public...but they post those dates somewhere....can't remember where though. |

If the weather is nice groups seem to come in waves. starting around 10ish though 3ish Mostly on the 50 yd range. the pistol range (7yd) seems to average 2-3 or empty, same with the 100 yd. I've been on the 100 and had it to myself all morning were the 50yd had folks waiting. Normally I can arrive, set up and go.
As some one else noted about mid Sept the guys sighting in there hunting rifles start arriving. They really show up 2nd weekend in Oct till mid Nov. The range improvements were well received and *most* folks seem to be taking care of it. Target backers are 3/16-1/2" osb that take a beating. Ive been bringing extra stands to use if the ones there are shredded only needed to use them once. Someone with a shot gun shot out the middle of the stand at close range. Range is closed on Tuesdays for LEO useage |
