Going to a stocking dealer to check fit and find out which one you want and then ordering it on-line?  IMO that's just wrong.

Opinions vary. If the stocking dealer would sell it to me for $5 over wholesale, I'd buy from them. For the record, Cabelas didn't have either shotgun. Their gun selection was disappointing at best.

I'll have to agree with you. The shotguns we have in stock, covers a range of quality, but not quantity.

Stoeger M3000 Compact. Debating between that or waiting a few more weeks for the M3K. With the M3K I'd have to shorten the stock, with the Compact I'd add the 3Gun parts and do the machining myself.

I do recall having a M3000 in the rack, although I don't know if it was still there this past weekend. Not a compact model though.
