| So I was at the mall in appleton the other day and I attempted to open up ar15.com on my phone. Low and behold, the mall's wifi blocked access to ar15.com. Thought that was a little rediculous. |

Yep, it's nothing personal. Our firewall at work is automated to pick up keywords and automatically assign sites to categories; there's absolutely no way in hell I have time to manually research and allow/block every website that exists on the internet. It's easier to have it automated and fix anomalies as needed. For example, occasionally seemingly innocuous ranges will have their sites blocked under 'violence', and it's easy to unblock them when you find them.
Basically what I'm saying is the mall probably doesn't have any on-site IT gun guys or it'd be unblocked. |
