Sorry gents, just have to vent. I'm going crazy waiting for Shiocton's rifle range to open up. Want to take my .308 out to the 500yd line and practice. Been checking their website daily and still no change or updates. |
I use the 300 at twin city as well. I will be trying out shiocton when it opens. Would like to finish my maten build first... Getting close
The schedule for ripon and 600 is goofy, and closes it off for anyone else because out shoot over other firing lines, I shoot idpa there, but don't see myself bothering with the long range |

I only take my bolt guns there do to the (IMO) strict rules. Quoted:

I just went out to twin city for my first time this last weekend. Decent place for the price. Went out there and zeroed in my irons on the 100yd range. I only take my bolt guns there do to the (IMO) strict rules. I didn't have any issues. I don't rapid fire or anything like that. I also didn't read the rules word for word to notice anything over zealous, just scanned them over as he was talking to me, seemed like basic stuff. For $35 for a year pass its a decent alternative (IMO) to the $100-$200 a year clubs down here in south east Wisconsin. |

They don't allow human silhouette targets or drawing from a holster. Their club, their rules though. I just only bring certain rifles there when I go. Not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things. |

I am new to the rifle and AR game, so I guess it doesn't bother me for now. Until then it gives me a reason to get out of the house when we are at my in-laws lol |
