Thinking of liquidating all my reloading stuff.
I don't thing this stuff is against CL policy, but if posted in sporting section what would the local response likely be? Will it get flagged or would it be best to list it in the EE? |

Dibs! What part of the state are you in and what do you have? ![]() Maybe I'll post it in the EE first and see how that goes before risking the sensitivities of the Madison craigslisters searching the sporting section for treadmills and Trek bikes. I don't do PayPal and always prefer face-to-face cash sales which is why I consider the local craigslist. |

I would use CL or Armslist first. http://www.armslist.com/classifieds/search?location=wisconsin&category=ammo
The appeal of a face to face transaction is worth the possible flaggings and butthurt from the libs in Madtown. |

I would list it in the EE as a FTF sale only. That way you get cash, avoid shipping and any CL issues.
WI members can use the EE search function at the top of the HTF to look at all of the WI for sale items, so it does not really get lost in the EE That was how I sold some ammo last year and it worked fine. |

Decided to down size one more.
A retro AR15 A1 that I pieced together years ago. Modern Bushmaster lower, A1 upper (SAK pencil barrel, birdcage, triangular forearm, teardrop forward assist), A1 stock and grip. I tried searching the EE, Armslist and GunBroker to try find a ballpark value, but there's not too many listed...or at all. Any suggestions for a listing price? I don't want to be a gouger, but I don't want to crash my email server with tons of replies either. Since it's a 'parts' gun, would it be best to sell complete or part it out? |

Do you have any pictures? |

Interested. Do you have any pictures? Sure, but don't want to risk getting my hand slapped for what would appear as selling through the forum. I've been out of the loop for awhile on prices and demand. I ended up deactiving a listing on Armlist before I closed the sale because I was drowning in replies. When that happens and people don't haggle prices I figure I must have priced it well under market value. Suppose I would surely crash my email server if I said "Make me an offer" Maybe there should be some sort of Craigslist/Ebay hybrid. Only local bidding...benefit of an auction and benefit of local face-to-face sales. |
