Who's up for some great deals and cheery personalities?
Oh wait...who's going to the gun show? |
|
My only gun show is experience is on the other coast, can I walk around with a rifle slung if the bolt is zip tied?
worth a drive from Milwaukee to try and sell a rifle and find another one? Thanks! Okay I found a website that says guns must be strapped, assuming that means zip tied. It also says mail in for membership. Can I sign up and pay at the door? |

You do not have to be a member to enter. They will check you at the door and zip tie the bolt, then you are free to carry it around how ever you like. This show, in my opinion, is the best show around. I have had good luck selling stuff there. Hope this helps. |

I'll be dragging a Katy perry look a like around until I find what I want to she gets mad at me, so if anyone wants to get lunch or bullshit PM me for my digits. |

Just to clarify, you want me to entertain your Katy Perry look alike with lunch while you shop the gun show? And later I could shop the gun show after I give her back? ...and I don't have to pay for this? Hmmmm... sounds legit. |

I'm curious what the price of 22lr at the show will be. Last Fond du Lac show, I saw bricks of 550 (Federal) going as high $100.
I'm all for a little profit, but 400%. Today might be the day that if I see that style of douche baggery, I might have to open my pie hole.

Today might be the day that if I see that style of douche baggery, I might have to open my pie hole. If a Store has a 75% off sale, people get all excited at how much cash they are saving instead of getting pissed and picketing the store because that means they are being charged 400% more the rest of the time when it is at full price.. The fact is that you can not expect to walk into any store and pick up a brick of .22. The core of the panic is over, so the people waiting in line every morning and clearing the shelves are likely not the vendors you will see at gun shows but instead, hoarders. There are those who hoard for personal use and those who hoard in anticipation of the next panic. If people were buying just to flip it, gunbroker and armslist would be full of sales ads like 1 year ago. If a dealer has 6 bricks and prices them at $30, someone will walk up, purchase all 6 bricks and then there will be no more bricks. This person likely would not burn this ammo up but will hoard it. If a dealer has 6 bricks at $75 per brick, the person who really needs the ammo to shoot will pay the $.13 per round and shoot every round. What makes more sense right now? The solution as I see it is for people to only purchase what they will actually use. I see this as being the former "normal". If purchase habits go back to this normal, the supply will catch up and the current panic will finally 100% end. |
