Hey guys...

For Christmas I got a gc to cabelas and cbined with other cash i have about $400...

Now the question is...what do i get??

Should I stock up on reloading supplies or use it as a down payment for another gun? So many options i dont know what to do haha

If they have reloading supplies then buy that, but the last time I was there they were limiting you to 2 pounds of gunpowder and I think 2k primers

All the .22lr ammo they'll let you have.... then sell it on armslist.com for $75 a brick.

I wouldn't use it on a gun or reloading supplies, they are overpriced on both.  I'd use it on fishing gear and Under Armour.  :)

I have similar issues.....

I am thinking of waiting until Federal black or green box is back on sale for $7.99 or less and the have a $20 off $150 purchase.  I wont hold my breath on 22LR.

I am also looking at optics.  I think they will have decent sales in the summer......so just have to wait for the deals.

Do the GCs expire?
If not, maybe hold off until purchase limits are lifted, or next BF, you find a good deal on a gun, etc.

I was just in there yesterday picking up some stuff and there was an employee standing by the ammo row and telling people "Sorry, out of 22..."

That's been a given for the entire year.  LOL!

No, last time I was in Richfield they had 1400-round buckets of Golden Bullets for $70.

At that price, I left them there.

I have no need for 22 because i dont shoot it...

I will probably wait and keep saving and see what deals come.

Im either gonna get a new glock, reloading supplies, or red dot sight

Cabelas isnt as overpriced as gander mountain...they are horrible and i will never buy anything from there

I agree with that.  However, just because they aren't "as bad" doesn't mean they aren't still overpriced.

Cabela's sells LOTS of stuff.  I'd see if there anything else they sell that tickles your fancy, and save your gun $ for a place with great prices.

Or, another option would be to sell the Cabela's gift cards and then spend that money at a gun store with better prices...

Yeah thats true. I dont buy guns from stores anyways because i can get LEO pricing so any sales prices pale in comparison lol
