I know this has been covered before, but I'm looking for decent women's CCW qualifying classes in either the Green Bay or Sheboygan areas (not for me smartasses  )
Right now the GF has been looking at the "Equip 2 Conceal" classes since they were advertised locally at Fleet Farm in both towns; does anyone have any experience or opinions on them? It looks like it's about 100 bucks for a class, 150 to meet Florida standards (no idea if that's reasonable, but I certainly have no problem paying that much). I also know NWTC runs some pistol courses but I doubt they meet WI training requirements, I need to check. Thanks gents, I look forward to the input! |

Equip 2 Conceal is good enough to meet the minimum requirement set forth by the WI DoJ which was all I really cared about almost 2 years ago when I took a class. They covered the pertinent laws, handgun functions, and shooting technique during the 4 hour stretch in a mostly sit and listen style classroom.
If your GF is already pretty knowledgeable about carry laws etc. then this will be a long, boring, refresher course. I didn't take the FL part so I cannot comment on that. |
