| Why are so many members at arfcom listed as being from Somalia? |

Quoted:
If you want less government and less taxes, why don't ya'll move to Somalia? Seems like a douche/immature move to claim Somalia as your homeland... Oh well. Move there then with your badass selves!!! Carry on. Thank you for the explanation. The reason was lost to me. |

Carry on. Thank you for the explanation. The reason was lost to me. Nobody is going to move there. It was simply a smart-ass response to all of the retards around here who try to equate Libertarianism with anarchy. For some people, it might also be due to the fact that the Somalian flag looks a lot like the Bonnie Blue flag of the Confederacy. But for most, it's just a funny Arfcom way of saying that they are Libertarians. If you think that's a "douche move", then you might be the douchebag... |
Did it ever occur to anyone with a fake Somalia location, that American servicemen lost their lives there, it's pretty much a terrorist/piracy infested nation (thus our enemy in a way), and "flying" a Somalian flag on your internet personality could be offensive to some Americans, including Libertarians?

Now...where's the entrance to the wormhole...I gotta get out of here... |

I realize that general discussion is overloaded with dumbasses, but if you spent a little time there, you would understand where the Somalian flag deal came from. And American serviceman have lost their lives all over the globe (including on U.S. soil), so that's not a reason to not fly an internet flag from somewhere else. There are Arfcom members who fly the Iraqi or Afghani flag, because that is their current location. It's just an Arfcom joke, so don't take it too seriously. |

Your above sentence in red is exactly why I avoid it. Oh, I don't. I just thought that some others might. Like maybe non-members just taking a look? |

If you spend a lot of time getting up to speed on what other people are doing, and then voicing negative responses, it tends to mean that you've got too much time on your hands. |
