| Very small vendor turn out. A rumor was started that this was a trinket show and that the Gun Show part was just a fraud. It chased several local FFLs away. The guys who were there had alot of reasonably priced guns. I saw alot of stuff that I could have taken home if I had a pocket full of cash. |

Hmmm. I'll go anyway I think. Used to be a fairly big show. This one has zero to do with any prior Riverside show. That show is still in the spring but is at Legends in De Pere. This show was sponsored by a Florida outfit which failed miserably in its advertising execution. They assumed that the prepper gold market was big around here as it may be in other areas of the country. In my opinion, they should have focused on the Guns part of their "Guns and Gold" name. They totally misread the local environment. |

Riverside chased gun shows away all together for a long time because they felt that they were making too much at other things than to waste their time on Gun Shows. They were not willing to make Sunday available is likely what happened. Shopko Hall Gun Show in Green Bay is the same way with Friday and Saturday only. |
