Bob's show - no show. Barely anybody there. I know how Sundays could be, but this was bad. Perhaps everybody went to Cicle B - I'm being sarcastic.
Some dealers were pretty confused why they couldn't sell their pile of P-mags at over 20 bucks a pop. |

I was there on Sat around noon. It was MUCH emptier than usual.
Cheapest box of 550 Federal .22 I saw was 65 dollars and nobody was buying. Saw a bunch of PMC 9mm for 15 a box which was not horrible. Plenty of pmags. One guy had pmags at 25 each. The guy next to him had pmags at 12 each. Guess who probably sold more? I dont understand why they were listing them that high. Seems pretty stupid to me. Colt 6940 at 1800? I loled real hard. The tables with all the machine guns was REALLY cool and I hope they continue that. |

I went with my 8yo son and picked up one of these Davy Crickett "My first rifle" rifles for $120 cash & carry. It's supposed to be brand new and it looks it. Thing is, it doesn't have the cheaper peep sight, it has a nice Weaver leaf sight with high-vis fiber optics on it and the front sight. So I wonder if it's a real early model or if it was done aftermarket? Either way, it looks unfired. I just need to find somewhere close to Waukesha where I can teach him to shoot it. Even if it's 25yd. or 50ft. Hartland would have been perfect if it wasn't closed. How's McMillers, I haven't been there in 10 years. http://i43.tinypic.com/2wel4hz.jpg That was a good score!!! Was nice to chit chat too!! |

We should have a kids shooting fun day at Shawano... Really need to find some land -- group buy!! |
