driving in I stopped by the range yesterday to see how the construction is coming along. Looks pretty good. Three separate ranges, one pistol, maybe 20yds, one medium range about 50 yd and one 100 yd range. The 50 and 100 yd range have shelters over the firing line and it looks like the pistol will too but it has not be constructed yet. Nice big berms along all three ranges. Only thing I don't care for is there is no possibility for a 200Yd range now. There are signs up saying "under video surveillance". I hope so. The range looks really nice and if any dipshits want to vandalize stuff, I hope they get video and jail time. Sign on the post at the gate says opening in September. No date given. |

How much parking will there be? Bathroom? The "video" signs were up all last summer. I tend to think they are total BS, I spent quite a bit of time looking for a camera, power supply, or cabling and saw none. It does look nice. Once word gets out I bet it'll be quite busy.

A Warden I talked to told me there were game cams set up....not sure, I never looked for them. |
