So I've been throwing around the idea of having my latest build Cerakoted. I also can't decide if I want to do it myself or find someone to do it for me. Do any of you have any recommendations for applicators in my area? I am in the Oconomowoc area. Any insight / help / opinions are appreciated.

Is the only certified applicator in WI that I know of. I haven't heard of any reviews on here, though.

The ugly yellow electric one?

Good to hear.
One of these days I'll have a lower that will need finishing.
No one in the area does a type 3 hard coating.

I'll shoot you a PM when I get around to machining it.
I'll also probably have another box of range brass for you by then too.

Sounds good.

I got a larger white whirlpool glass top from the inlaws. I would like a vertical oven but everyone wants a fortune for them.

Not in your area but shipping is easy enough.  These guys do amazing work and I've seen several of their guns around the 3 gun circuit.  If their paint jobs can take the abuse 3 gunners put through their guns, then I'd say it's pretty tough stuff!

I had them re-blue a marlin I scratched. They did a nice job. Took a lil longer than originally quoted but only a couple weeks.

I'd recommend them.

Fox Valley Firearms does Cerakote now. They are certified by Cerakote as of this last week, I heard. I would check them out as well!
