Not a terrible show, there was jerky and pink camo at only three tables.

AR's were priced high, anything sorta tacticool was as well.

DPMS A2 AR was 1400.  A few Saiga and a couple AK.

I sold a bunch of scrap brass and reclaimed shot and 2 M1Carbine mags and picked up a pound of powder at normal prices.

Primers, forgetaboutit.  A brick of small rifle Winchester primers was $60.  There weren't alot of primers available.  Ammo was also completely jacked.  22lr was stupid high.  $50 for 555.  Any of the popular handgun calibers was high.  Only saw two boxes of loaded 10mm.  Silly

I almost bought some .30 Carbine reloads, but I never buy gun show reloads.

How did the pistol selection look?

They had a pretty good selection of pistols, mostly 1911's and the prices were reasonable.  There was one dealer with mostly Sigs and they were all within normal prices.  I didn't see a single Glock.

Thanks.  Good on 1911s. Maybe I'll take a wad of cash to Eau Claire.

Guy next to me was selling 555 rounds 22lr for $35. Saw a Glock 22 sell for $500. Most amazing was the idiots buying $500 plus SKS's. Used Judges $550, LCP's $400, Ruger single action 22lr's $400 plus etc
Basically the same guys you see at every show trying to buy guns cheap off the general public walking around and jacking the prices. Take a second and look, every show in the area same guys pulling the same crap. Will Eau Claire be any different??
I've actually been doing better at the local Scheel's. Best part is they will stand behind a gun and fix a problem. Good luck with that "DEAL" you get at the gun show.
The shows are getting to be a big joke.

Eau Claire won't really be any different but it is an easy way to show my wife a variety of pistols.

No impulse buying for me but it never hurts to take cash.

Sounds like I made the right choice going to Pine City gun show over Barron. At Pine City I seen lots of .223 brass for $12 a hundred and the 22lr 555's were only $35
Lots of good deals and lots of guns. I was surprised it was the best gun show I have been to this year as far as prices go.

Cant wait to see how trollhaugen will be.
