Anyone available to help me get my dies dialed in and run through a few rounds? I get the theory and have read a bunch, but am having trouble getting my dies dialed in. I'm loading .38special because that's the only shell plate I've been able to find since early January!

I'm more than happy to pay you for your time.

Thanks!

What press and dies are you using?  I am very new to reloading and have a lee turret press.  Following the instructions it was pretty simple setting up the 9mm dies.

Are you having specific problems you can ask about?

Hornady LnL AP and the Lee Deluxe dies

I'm using the powder through expander and am having a difficult time getting the right amount of belling. I think I finally got my seating die and crimp dies squared away.

I'm not an expert by any stretch, but I load enough of my own stuff that I should be able to help.  If nobody else with more experience chimes in, i'm game.

Want to shoot me a IM?

There is is a NRA Metallic reloading class avaliable through http://www.safesidellc.com/

The Class is $145 but it is a valuable class as they talk about building up loads in addition to the actual processes and setup of a press.

The class is being taught at the Cabelas in Richfield, Gander in Kenosha, and Elite Tactical in Kenosha.
The 2 rounds they teach in class are 38spcl and .223

I have talked with the instructor Lynn Garnand on several occassion and I am impressed with him. (I have bought reloads him.)

Once the primer & componet shortage is over I will be in his class learning how to setup my Horandy LnL Ammo Plant.

I got it dialed in- I wasn't getting enough expansion at first and then was belling way too much; the powderfunnels.com expander was very sensitive w/ adjustments! :)
