what mags do you use for this. can i use the standard 223 ar-15 mag?

Almost all of the 300 AAC rounds can be used in normal .223/5.56 AR15 magazines.

There's a few mags out there that have internal geometries that are not friendly to the larger diameter bullet, but for the most part they're good.

I decided to get one to fill the gap between 6.8 SPC and 5.56.

To me its a neat little round that allows the performance of a 7.62x39 out of an AR15 style platform and uses everything a .223 AR does except the barrel.

I like mine, I reload for it so I shoot it a lot. Its a fun little cartridge.
