I talked to Walkers office today about the UN observers coming to Wisconsin. His staff said 2 things.
1. Walker will be making a statement soon.
2. They have not had any phone calls supporting the UN.

Since 2 states have all ready said they would arrest observers.  I think Walker 's response should be Welcome to Wisconsin Now go away.

Why doesn't Walker have the state troopers arrest these "invaders"?  Who invited them in the first place?

Arrest them, put them in deer costumes and send them out in the woods on opening day of gun season.

They have been doing this since Bush let them come in 2002. My question is, why is it a big deal now?

I did not know they had come in in the past.   if I had I would have made a stink then.  We don't need the UN interfering in our elections.  It will only lead to problems.  It will let the UN think they have a say in our elections.  Letting them in is taking a little bit of our sovereignty out of our hands, and giving it to a foreign entity.

Yeah, I didn't know they've been coming in until now either.

When it comes down to the bottom line, they are foreign entities attempting to alter the outcome of a U.S. election under the guise of "fairness" and "observation".

I agree, but this also raises another question: have they already altered the outcome of past elections? Do we need to question the results of the past 6 elections?

Yet another reason the US needs to say good-bye to the UN.  GTFO!

I know that the TX state laws prevent foreigners from "observing" their elections and I believe IA has a similar law.

Does anyone know if WI has a law like this?  I wouldn't even know where to search for such a law.

Wisconsin law states no one other than election workers can interact with voters within 100 feet of a polling place.  However, the GAB has ruled that "observers" can stand at least 6-12 feet behind voters.

Personally, if anyone other than election workers or other voters are within 100 feet if my polling place I'm calling every media outlet in Green Bay and scream intimidation.  I'm fed up with this shit.  The Libs play this way and it's time to quit being on the other end.

This is exactly right!  Let those MFRs in and the sheep will get used to having them around.

Why the hell would bush let them in?

The UN are so great: can't prevent hundreds of thousands from getting hacked to death with machettes in Rwanda, can't stop scum from gunning down little girls in Sarejevo, can't do anything about mass slaughter and gang-rape in Syria but they sure as hell are there to ensure no shenanigans in an election in the freest country in the world.

I believe you but can you cite a statute?  I don't believe a GAB ruling can trump state law IMHO.

Since when do election observers intimidate voters and interfere with elections?  Isn't their role to check for voter fraud and election rigging?

No one from outside this great country has any business playing any part in our government, including elections.

They are going to bear witness to why Obama lost.  AKA voter suppression of the minority vote, voter ID and right wing conspiracy.  Obama can not lose due to voter apathy, disillusionment, bad weather and being fired by the majority.

So they send in an unbiased group of advisers from 3rd world shit holes with no elections and firing squads to verify that we in fact violate human rights by voter suppression....thus in the minds of public opinion nullifying the election results.  If Obama wins, and he won't, they would simply say he won in-spite of the evil done against him.

The UN does not bother me much because most of them know how cool most of us think their blue helmets would look as planters on our patios, with one large drain hole in each of them.  I am thinking Oregano, Japanese Iris or both in mine.  That being said, I hate them and want them off our soil and the best shovel ready jobs Romney can create is the removal of their buildings.

Nam has hit the nail on the head. There is absolutely no reason to have the UN involved in our countries elections.
