I own a G27. I am rethinking this and wondering if I would have liked the G23 more. Anyone have this same feeling in the opposite direction? Just putting some feelers out to what yoos guys have to say.

| If you can shoot the G27 decently, I would stick with that for carry. I have a G23 and it's a big gun to carry especially in the summer wearing shorts and a t-shirt. I find myself carrying a SW 38 Airweight all summer because I get sick of lugging the G23 around. |

I carry a G27 or a G22 when I can dress around the gun, and don't find them hard to conceal. But when I need to tuck in my shirt and wear a tie, I go smaller.
I find a G23 much more "shootable" than a G27 with Pearce grip extension. I've seen, but never tried, magazine extensions that elongate the G27 grip. Maybe those would turn your G27 into a G23? You could try those to see if they solve your grip problem, while still keeping the G27. |
