wow that pass interference call was a piss poor ![]() Worst call of the night. Seattle got shafted on a few, but not that bad. Care to rethink this? That has to be the worst bunch of horse shit I've ever seen. No offensive pass interferance, no interception called. Who are these guys? Must have pulled them from the local Pop Warner game to fill in. |

The worst call of the night was giving rodgers the first down on the goalline even when the call on the field was short the review showed short, if they could have made that call GB would have kicked the go ahead field goal and we would likely be in OT right now, but Tate had his hand between the ball and Jennings chest there gloves are blue its pretty clear if you look close. |

Now I know you are drunk... Ball to the chest. Also, Rodgers was well over the "unofficial" line as well as the actual first down marker. Everyone seems to have seen the same thing. |

Yeah, Tate clearly had his hand between the ball and Jennings chest.

Not even close. You need your eyes checked. |
The NFL has lost all it's integrity now. Until they get the real refs back, they should just cancel the games and be upfront and honest about it being ludicrous to continue. When Drew Brees, one of the most laid-back and respected players in the NFL, says something about the officiating (BEFORE this horrendous game-deciding BLOWN call), you know something's radically wrong.
I watched both ESPN & NFL network until after 1:00am (I was so bewildered, and pissed, I couldn't go to sleep anyway)... and not a single person on the air agreed with that bullshit. They kept repeating the applicable rule, which the refs obviously had no clue, and showing it in slow-motion and it was clearly an interception according to NFL rules. There may be a silver lining to this. The Packers needed a spark to get them going, and this is more like a molotov cocktail than a spark. They'll be playing pissed for the rest of the season. |

I had trouble sleeping after that one too. Too pissed off. I hope this lights a fire in the Packers ass. |

I certainly hope so. Everybody at work was salty as hell this morning as well, including me. Stupid refs. |

There's no question which call was the worst. It's been all over NFL Network and ESPN for 3 days now. And the 2nd worst was the non-call on Tate for OPI against Shields on that final play. Shields was in perfect position, and if Tate didn't blatantly push Shields off, the ball would've hit Shields right between the 3 & 7, game over. So I'll move on to the 3rd worst, the pass interference on Sam Shields. It was so blatantly offensive PI, Gruden was wondering why the hell the receiver wasn't given a personal foul for face-masking Shields. ![]() ![]()
The 4th worst was the roughing the passer call on Walden that negated a McMillen INT that would've given the Packers possession, already in field goal range. Worst case scenario, they could've eaten up several minutes on the clock, kicked a field goal, "iced" the game right there. Wilson was way out of the pocket, running the ball. He now became a running back, and "special" rules to protect QBs don't apply anymore. It was perfectly legit tackle. If that was roughing, then each of the 8 sacks on Rodgers was roughing too.
Most popular Halloween costume this year in WI will be a ref's uniform (with #26 on the back) , sunglasses, and a blind man's cane. |
